STEPS FOR CERTIFICATION

Below is a general guideline and step-by-step process towards kosher certification by AKS:

STEP 1: SEND APPLICATION

  • Complete the online application here, or download the printed version. Accurately fill out and complete the entire form, and please contact us if you have any questions. There is no initial fee for submitting the application.

STEP 2:  FACILITY INSPECTION

  • A rabbi will be appointed to conduct a thorough inspection at the facility to observe all processes from handling raw materials until final packing.

STEP 3: SERVICE AGREEMENT

  • Each application will be directed to the responsible country offices. Additional information regarding ingredients and manufacturing processes may be required to ensure that the facility is qualified for kosher certification. The application form will be reviewed by the local rabbinical advisory, and the terms for issuing the service agreement will be negotiated.

STEP 4:  CERTIFICATION

  • The service agreement will be finalized and signed after the facility inspection is completed to confirm that all criteria for kosher certification are met. Once the administrative registration is concluded, you will receive your full AKS issued kosher certificate.
